How Can I Help?

Our fundraising goal is to raise $350,000 for the  Académie SAINT-ANDRÉ Academy Playground Project and there are many ways to become a valuable contributor. Aside from helping spread the message to anyone you know who can assist us in reaching our goals or volunteering during one our fundraising events, you might want to consider the following:

Donations of any size are appreciated and all monetary donations of $50 or more will receive a tax receipt. To support us, please print and complete the SAINT-ANDRÉ Playground Donor Form and include it with your contribution. Cheques can be made payable to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools with a note specifying the St. Andre Playground Project Our online donation system will also be up and running soon, so please check back frequently.

If you’re wondering how you might be able to help with an in-kind donation, here are some ideas:

Silent Auction, Online Auction, Live Auction

We hope to generate a significant amount of our playground funds by auctioning off items that have been donated and will be offering items for sale at the Steve Bell Concert using a silent and live auction format. Very soon, we are also hoping to provide the ability to offer items for sale through an online auction. Stay tuned for further details regarding online bidding!

Please consider approaching the company you work for or the people you know to help us secure items. In terms of value, we are hoping to have a wide range of items available for auction. You may use this SAINT ANDRÉ Academy Fundraising Letter to approach individuals or businesses for auction donations. We are grateful for your help and support in approaching organizations.

Auction items could include hockey tickets, golf passes, apparel, artwork, home decor items, gift cards, concert or special events tickets, cleaning services, auto-detailing, business services such as accounting preparation, photography packages, massage certificates, specialized sporting equipment, spa packages, electronics, airline passes, condo or timeshare unit for a weekend get-away, luxury car lease.

Construction services such as landscaping materials, concrete, gravel, asphalt, heavy equipment operation and manhours, electrical or other services

These are only a few ways to offer in-kind donations. The sky is the limit! Items can be dropped of at Académie SAINT-ANDRÉ Academy school or please e-mail to arrange pick up of the donated item.

The SAINT-ANDRÉ Playground Committee requires many volunteers to fulfill a variety of roles requiring different levels of commitment. Whatever skills you may have or whether you have only limited time or lots of time to help out … we have something for you and would be very grateful for the support. From advertising and promoting our upcoming Steve Bell Concert, to handling refreshments at the concert, to approaching specific organizations for support, to writing grant applications to setting up chairs at the concert, or even joining the committee – your help is needed!
